Budgie rests in odd position

My little budgie named Kaladin (after a character from my favorite book series) rests in a really odd position. He straightens up when he starts moving around, though. Other than this, he acts fine. His poop does look a little odd sometimes, but I think that's because he's on a weird mix between seeds and colorful pellets, and he drinks quite a bit of water. He's also just starting to go through his first molt.
I'm just wondering if I should be a little concerned or if this is normal. Here's a picture of his position. (Blue one on the left).

I think he's probably just comfortable in this position.

I've seen some videos of budgies napping in that position. Mine does that too when she gets all comfy and snoozy!

Not sure about the sleeping pose, but I love what you did in the back with the paper strips.
