Bottlebrush and Our Black Lory

Our Bottlebrush trees are in full bloom right now. The blooms are a huge favorite for our Lories. I weave the thin branches with blossoms intact between the wire of their enclosures so that the blossoms hang as they would on the tree.....this allows our Lories to forage in a manner consistent with their natural behaviors. Snapped these photos earlier today and thought I would share......

Thank you, everyone! Yes, he did have a blast foraging yesterday in the blossoms....by the end of the day, they were pretty barren looking. LOL Think I will go out and get some more for him now......
