No we have 4 others.
A Myers, red front, cockatiel and a white belly caquie.
I wiped down the room and the cages. We use hand sanitizer. We were using crushed walnut shells in the cages but have totally removed we are back to news paper.
Brandi reminds me of someone who has had a stroke. Now she can climb up her cage, but she has a really hard time standing and using her feet. She stands on the back of her feet. She is so unstable and her wings will flutter. Hard to watch. She cannot stand on 1 foot and feed her self. She can only stand on her a bong. She cannot stand on her perches at all. There is improvement as far in some other things but not at all in her standing walking or trying to perch.

Hank sanitizers have alcohol to kill bacteria, but they also have many other components that aren't good at all for bird. I can't recommend too strongly that you should use F10 for disinfecting - it is by far the best on the market. I have a friend who took a bath in it (when her boy brought the nasties home from school) and she soaked her self destructive Amazon in it. It is completely safe. I used it when Hank had MRSA and didn't get one swab with MRSA after spraying everything down with F10 - twice.

You can buy F10 here - it's the cheapest I've found and the shippin is FAST. F10 Bird & Reptile Cleaning Disinfectant - 200 ml
The cost is cheap 1:500 dilution or 1:250 dilution. I use one 200ml bottle about every 8-10 months.

PS - her sugar was probably so low because she was starving herself. Buy a cheap ($10) gram scale at WalMart and weigh her every day.

That's great. Weight is one of the first indications when a bird is sick or getting that way.
