My cockatiel is going through a molt and I just noticed a few feathers he lost today are bloody. Is this normal?

I don't feel it is normal to molt that way. It looks like your baby mght have had night fright and lost the feathers in the panic.
The good thing is that the shaft is intact. Did you find any blood on him?

Those feathers were not molted. A molted feather would not have blood on the shaft like that. Since they are flight feathers, it would be rare for them to have been plucked. Most likely he banged them, which knocked them out.
