Black cat appreciation day!

My cats are confused (tortoiseshells and calicos), no straight blacks here.

I don't have an all blackie- but I have two tortoiseshells!

Jessie- she's 10 and I adopted her from a shelter at 6 months old

Olivia- she's 9 and brought her home at 4 weeks- the people were getting rid of them waaaayyy too soon, but the place was horrid- I couldn't leave her there... I bottle fed her for a few weeks

i rescued a couple solid black kitties just under 2 years ago. i REALLY didnt want another cat. so i didnt name them. but since it was right before halloween, i didnt advertise. so a co-worker got one and the other still was here. i still hadnt named him.. but i had to call him something. i'd say to him 'c'mere ya lil furball'... it stuck. so now his name is Furball. my great dane, darla adopted them and spent lots of time trying desperately to mother them. they would get quite annoyed with her when she was extra slobbery.

my rocko HATED cats and would kill them on sight if he could... for some reason, he accepted the kittens but would often cut me some dirty looks when they were cuddling with him.
