Biting but not hard

Sorty I'm just so curious about Jupiter so I'm sorry if I ask so many questions! What does it mean when he bites me but not hard? Like it doesnt hurt doesn't break skin. He does it if I give him a treat but then leave my hand there. Or when he's out of his cage if I was pushing his door closer to his perch. He climbed down to my hand and just to nibble my fingers. I think he's telling me to stop touching his house lol.

I think nibbling without biting is affection... that, and testing your fingers for a possible perch!
