Birds fighting

I have 2 birds, 2-3 month old siblings, in a flight cage.
I've had them for less than a month, but I can clearly see that one is fighting the other now (pecking, screaming and and poking eyes sometimes) while the other , seemingly unprovoked fights back

I've been trying to split them up when it happens and then after, they're calm

It doesn't matter that they're siblings. You need to permanently split them up immediately (separate cages), for their own safety and well-being. Birds can and will kill each other, especially in a confined situation.

Ok
Thanks for letting me know, I wasn't sure about what if they were siblings

Separate cages are needed as said. Hope the birds are not injured.
