Great photo. African grey will benefit from red palm oil next batch you make.

I just made a fresh batch of birdie bread this morning, too. It has kale, carrots, broccoli, red bell peppers, yams, banana, apple, Harrison's pellets, barley, faro, quinoa, unsweetened coconut, hemp seeds, ancient grains and almond meal.

Sadly nobirdie liked it... :( Don't know why, it's delicious!!
Aww, Sometimes they dont like it. Just keep trying to add different stuff. Try freezing it and giving it to them later and see if they will like it on another day. :)

I will have to try this. I live in a semi rural area, not sure if I will be able to find red palm oil. What are ancient grains? Is that unsweetened coconut or unsweetened coconut milk?

Do I thaw it after freezing? I'm going to assume yes but wanted to ask anyway.

I will defiantly have to try this.

What kind of corn meal? Is it ok to use Jiffy Corn bread in the box or just use the kind that comes in a bag. I've made birdie bread before, so not sure how I'm going to keep the "bread" together. I will look for almond meal, I doubt if I'll find it in my area, it's difficult enough to find fresh ginger, which I love to cook with.

Well, I made corn muffin balls that had many types of veggies, and seeds, added a little bit of dates for texture to hold the corn balls together. They liked them!
