@DartMouth I'm not aware of any issues with that set, although I'm also not familiar with it.

If you want to be sure, contact the manufacturer of the pans (T-Fal) and ask them. I would assume they are safe, but it doesn't hurt to be 100% sure! :)

Trying to make house bird safe..
Our local kitchen shop said they revised their cookware range years ago because they didn't want people's birds dying (this is when I asked about surface coatings, no mention about birds from me).
So they said everything in store is safe.
Looking at scan pan non stick. States non toxic.
Any experience please?

Can you contact the manufacturer?

Like the threads above indicate, you don't want PTFE and PFOA in the pans.

I use stainless steel for my everyday cookware - pots/saucepans, skillet, saute pan, etc.
Cast iron for "sticky" stuff like eggs or for grilling, searing meats
Carbon steel wok for stir frying
Uncoated aluminum cookie sheets, cake pans etc.
CorningWare casserole dishes, soup dishes, etc.

:)
Where did you get your wok? Can never find a bird safe one!

For recommendations from me, me and my dad bought these a couple of years ago, we bought my mom some as well the last Christmas but hers have kind of become decrepit since she turns the heat up so high.

When I move out of my Dad's I'll be buying these! (Hopefully not for a year or two) (;

I actually have a few in SS that I have had for years.....obviously must be lined or floured before use though. I also have some silicon baking sheets, cake and muffin tins- Hmmm what do you call the silicon ones as they really are not tins or panso_O Oh, I have also used a few times my glass baking dishes for large cakes.

I am hoping to keep up with any responses you get on this as I would like some new ones in different sizes.
