I have this on the way:

What would I use to attach toy parts? Any suggestions?

I don't have that particular seagrass mat...the other seagrass mats that are quite common - I have used plastic links and quick links...but the tiels have often managed to chew enough that those parts fall off. I found using sisal works better. I have attached finger traps, palm flowers and other shreddables using sisal.

I use zip ties for this.

Poly Rope should slide right through easily. And its handy to re-tie later if you need to replace parts and pieces that have been chewed etc :)

I use thin leather strips I weave through and tie things on to the mat. Also good for replacement parts.
