Bella's new game

Now that Bella can fly, she has devised a new game. She flies to me on the couch and then after about 5 minutes cries for me to take her back to her cage. Then she flies back to me. She thinks that it is so much fun. I hope I can figure out a way to teach her how to fly back to her cage. Any suggestions?

Milton isn't food driven...what works for him is praise...

She has a rope attached to her cage but great idea. I am wondering if it is just fear. When she was little, she could climb up to the top of her cage and call for me to get her down. I am wondering if I get her to fly more, she would return to her cage by herself.

Unfortunately, Bella isn't food or praise driven. She does what she wants when she wants. I guess that is what being a Princess is all about. I guess I created a monster.

Nah...she's just being a Princess...er, Diva.
Obviously, she wants your attention...for a time specified by her. In the wild, you might see two birds sitting together...when one wants the other to go (and they don't want to be the one to fly off) sometimes one bird will bluff a bite at the other. I won't say for you to bluff biting, but gently move Bella off your arm...just thinking aloud...
