Bedtime snuggles - Adélie is flat out..

Yes... I am wearing the same dress as yesterday... I haven't been getting out much!

Neptune snuggles under me hair in the evening. I always feel bad peeling him off for bed. Sometimes Picard inspires him.

Picard flies to the bird room/office door at night. He wants to get to bed. If the door is open he flies into his cage and goes to his sleeping spot. He will make grumpy whistles until we go in and turn the light off and get him to bed.

I love how dedicated my parrotlets are to sleep.

I wish Adelie would want to sleep in her cage at night. She just wants to be on me!
I don´t mind but, I don´t have TV in my living room, and all the other birds are asleep.. it´s dead silent in here... and then Adelie starks beak grinding and it makes me soooo sleepy! It´s hard to stay awake!

Lol, I do that all the time. Usually in my around the house clothes. Not if I go to the bird store though. Then I end up smelling like the bird store . Ugh I want to buy a queen of bavaria conure so bad. There are 4 babies at the store atm.

The other week I went to the pet shop for a tub of seed mix... I strolled in with chick formula on my pants from feeding Adelie, and bird poop down my back (not sure who the culprit was for that...)
I held my head high. Who would say anything to me? It is the reality of owning birds, and I´m not embarrassed to show it

Ugh I want to buy a queen of bavaria conure so bad.

I had wanted one long ago too. Then one day in an avian store only I stood in front of a cage that had two of them. SCREAMING. OMG... I looked at them for a few minutes and then walked away saying... " You sure are pretty!" Haven't wanted one since then! REsist the TEMPtation!
