Thought I'd share a picture of my dog that had passed away February 2015
He was a miniature dachshund, 9 years old, named Bandit.
I still don't know what color variation he was

An artist had actually painted him for me- Not sure if I'm allowed to share names since that'd be like advertising I guess?

I am so sorry! It is dreadful to lose a pet.:sorrow:
Bandit must have been a great friend of yours. I am really, really sorry. Sometimes I wish our pets could live until our very deaths, and never leave our sides.

Especially when it shouldn't have happened :(
I'm pretty sure he must have picked up a random illness- because he basically threw up one ngiht and then died the next morning. I'm pretty sure doxies can go until 15yrs or so..

It really is sad that they cant be around longer

So sorry for your loss. He was a beautiful dog. I had a dachshund growing up. So they hold a special place in my heart. Hugs.

He was such a handsome doxie, I'm so sorry for your loss.:sadhug2:

I had to put down my girl doxin last year after she became partially paralyzed (sadly common with the doxin's) among some other problems. She was almost 15. They really are a special breed.

I'm sure he's looking down at you from the Rainbow Bridge right now. :)
