Video Bald-Eagles can swim!

Rare footage of Bald Eagle swimming.
Apparently they sometimes miscalculate when diving for prey and end up in the water. Wet, with no webbed feet or grounding to get lift, they cannot take off again so have to swim to shore.

That's really cool Thanks for sharing. He looked so cute when waddle up on land and a little pathetic too. Especially for a bird known to be majestic. Poor guy

I guess that makes sense! Otherwise every time they miss their meal they'd die lol. Just one of those things you don't think about! How cool

It looks kind of like a butterfly stroke and is very effective for moving through water but must be exhausting.
