I'm currently hand rearing a baby parakeet named snowden. He's a few months old and fully feathered and I've been feeding him two to here times a day . All the other keets I've raised had been eating seeds by his age already. I'm not force weaning him, or rushing him but he seems not to know how to swallow them. He frantically runs around picking at them and spitting them back out. I usually show him seeds after feedings so his curiosity will kick in , but just wondering. Any advice would be helpful .

Is he being raised with any other babies, or other budgies, that he can watch eat?
