We don't have a cage for him inside, but we have a fairly large one outside. He lives inside and spends 80% of the time out of his cage just following us around the house. But since he got back, he wants to spend alot of time in his cage and just gazes skyward. We don't force him out of the cage. He calls when he is ready to come out and we bring him inside. He is kinda rediscovering all the things inside he used to make a mess of and destroy.

Awww, that must be heartbreaking watching him stare at the sky. Poor baby must be torn between being free and being with his loved ones.

I'm so glad that he's home, so sorry that he had to experience those other terrible people and am sure that time will make him content with you and your wife once more.

Hi Chad
How is Robert? If memory serves he flew off exactly a year ago today, but returned home early in October 2017. You spoke of him being very thin. Is he back to the Robert you remember? Thinking of you guys.
