I'm somewhat loathe to start a thread, as I'm afraid it will end in a 'sad update'. BUT these 2 guys are hanging in there, so......pic...... and let's give them names. Hope is the dark one, I think. What about a name for the little, light colored one?

I hope you can tell what they are.

Are you using an eye dropper to handfeed?

No I am using a very small syringe with a feeding tube thingie on the end.

So far so good.... they are not as big or as strong as they should be at this point but they are getting stronger so we'll take it!

Thank you! We keep telling each other we'll just do the best we can.... we know they may not make it... we won't hold out hope....

But really we hope and wish and work so hard on them.

My art teacher was here last night and said "If my wife said we're going to get up every 2 hours and feed an animal that probably will not make it -- I would say you're out of your mind!"

And the tile guy was here earlier. He said he's eating them for Thanksgiving dinner.

I know! He is awesome tho. He works till 3 and gets here by 3:15, didn't leave here until 7:30... and treats every tile like a prized piece of art.

names for the light one:
since the one is called Hope, I was trying to go with the poem ('hope is the thing with feathers')
And suggestions for that would be Emily, dickens (dickinson), or Gail (gale)
But I also like Faith, because you feed her and have faith she'll make it.
most of them seem to be sorta girly names, but dickens could be either.
