Above, I have posted a sample of my notes. The oldest baby is about the age of yours but the youngest would be quite a bit younger like maybe 12 days younger so the temp and humidity is for the youngest even though I kept them all together because they are more sensitive to cold as was previously mentioned.

It starts with the date and the brooder temp and humidity.

The times on the left are feeding times.

The initial numbers are weights in grams before and after the first feeding.

The other notes are stating that I feed until the crops were full. That notation works for me but to be more precise it is better to write the volume or the weight.

Don't worry about the actual weight because they are all different. Sometimes I have a younger sibling who is bigger and passes up and older one. The important thing is that up until he starts trying to fly he should really be gaining weight everyday.

Is his crop emptying between each feeding? It does not have to be empty each time but should be getting quite empty and in the morning it should be fully empty (especially if it has been 12 hours).

Start the four feedings but when you do eventually go to three only leave 8-9 hours overnight, just space out the day feedings more.

To me the goal is to get as much food in them as you can in a day while not feeding too much at one time. As the baby grows and can eat more at a time he will naturally be able to go longer between feedings.

It looks like I went to three feedings when the babies were about 6 weeks old but yours may need a little longer, each on develops deifferently. When his crop can hold food for 8 hours without being totally empty you can drop a feeding but spcae them out so there is only an 8-9 hour break overnight.

I stay on three feedings almost until they are weaned. At some point after he is eating some food on his own you can go to two feedings a day with a 12 hours in between.

I try to wait until it's empty or almost empty

Great to see that Laurie has stopped by!
Hope that Odin will thrive.
I think I posted the hygrometer/thermometer combination but here it is again....Amazon.com : Zoo Med Economy Analog Dual Thermometer and Humidity Gauge : Tank Thermometer : Pet Supplies
I used a similar set to gauge the humidity and temperature in my brooder.
I had no issues with a heating pad. I did cover part of the top of the terrarium/brooder. Forgot about that.
I kept logs similar to Laurie's. I weighed the babies before the first feeding and sometimes again later in the day. Recorded how much each one weighed and how much they ate at each feeding and also made notes about development.

Thank you iamwhoiam, I just got that exact one.
Also if I cover the bin with the whole blanket can he still breath?

Leave enough uncovered to allow for ventilation.

Okay I will.
Hey guys I do have a question. What does it mean if I see the baby wedging his head in the blanket and crying ? I took Odin out and again he went to my legs trying to wedge his body in there.

Man. That poor baby. He is cold or needs comfort.

Is body temp is 83° and I'm constantly with him. Seems like he just wants to sleep and sleep.

He plays around for a bit then tries to tuck his head in my leg for a while. And if I move just a slight bit he starts crying.

I checked his body temperature with a temperature gun. Seems fairly accurate.
