I was at Target yesterday and as a last minute impulse buy I picked up this cookie sheet

As Seen on TV 12"x17" Cookie Sheet : Target


When I got home I noticed it says "non-stick coating" I looked online but it doesn't really specify what kind of coating that is. Should I return it?

I'm personally terrified of anything that has "nonstick coating", as it's almost always teflon. Non-stick cookware like ceramic, cast iron and silicone are safe and easy to find; I'd return that sheet and find one that's naturally non-sticking.

To my knowledge silicone is not safe.

All you have to do is read. If it doesn't say this on it, assume that it's not safe.

Yes, I'm pretty sure that silicone is not safe either. Also, if it doesn't say that it is PFOA or PFAS free, run from it.
