My male GCC looks so bored, while mom sits and incubates on 9 eggs 24/7

Generally speaking, pets don't make good breeders and breeders don't make good pets. The parents could become very protective of their cage and nest.

If the male is still friendly, you can see if he is interested in being interacted with, but don't be surprised if he decides to defend his home.

Should be fine letting him out to play and interact and it's a good sign that he's still friendly and interested in it. Just make sure not to have him out for too long at one time, you do want to make sure he has plenty of opportunities to feed her. In the wild, he'd be spending his time flying around searching for food to take to her, instead of having food right in front of him.

i love that he is still interactive. in dogs temperament is bred for but in birds it's largely ignored , bird breeding is so unethical, many breeder birds were assigned that role due to aggression birds like yours are what breeders should be breeding
