I just got 2 new parakeets 2 days ago and I came home today to find all of there food on the floor and them sitting in the bowl. My smaller white parakeet was sitting on top of my bigger blue one, I don't know their genders but I'm a little confused about the whole ''throwing food out of food bowl' thing

Let them do their thing. Dispose of the eggs on day 1, before life forms and replace with dummy eggs. Buy them today online so you will be well prepared

How old are they?
Looks like the one with the blue back is sleeping. As they are sleeping in that dish and you have just got them I presume they must be very young. (too young to breed?)

Get the fake eggs just in case.
Do you have any photos of them from the front? We can tell from their ceres whether they're juveniles.

Nothey both have their heads tucked in, sleeping. I can get one tomorrow when I get off work.
