I'm sure she'll be doing exactly as you bade her. Chasing squirrels while she awaits your arrival.

Knowing we'll meet all of our beloved old friends some day, helps to make the pain of loss, a tiny bit easier to bear.

This is how I felt too when I read that last though. The tears came and they are hear still as I write. Lois, you doubled her lifespan. There's no home where she could have been safer or happier. Quite a different direction from where it started. I hope your pain heals swiftly, in the company of your feathered and furry clan.
