That is grapewood that is pictured, which naturally has some branchier pieces.

If you look on etsy, you can search for "sandblasted grapewood" and get some nice pieces!

Same with sandblasted cholla and manzanita :) There used to be a guy on ebay that had a lot of manzanita but I am not seeing it anymore

I pieced it together. The largest branch was attached to a wood block that was placed in the planter. The other sizes were then attached to the main branch. It was heavy and awkward to move around. I have since taken that apart and used an old microwave cart (with wheels) and attached the branches to that.

I'm looking for any safe wood cool like this. We don't have this around here

Grapewood and Java will give you the most "cool" like this :)

Used hanger bolts and screws to attach them together.

Bottlebrush wood is another good wood that is great for gnawing without potentially damaging birds beaks because it is not as hard of a wood like Manzanita. It's a nice barky wood with great texture and not slippery like Manzanita and Java wood. If you start with a nice thick piece as the trunk on a rolling base with good rubber casters, then add as many extra branches as you want with double wood SS hanger bolts so that the extra branches can be replaced individually whenever they get destroyed.
