Love this idea! I assume you just make it heavy enough not to flip w/ them on it? Or do you screw it down onto the cage?

Well mine never flipped it, but it is just full of shred paper and toy parts. I've never used anything to weigh it down intentionally, but that was with 100g birds lol. Ripley prefers boxes.

This mini version I do is a little stainless steel cat bowl, so my Meyers can step onto the edge and not tip it. I do a different one for my Rose Breasted Too, which is a bit more tippy. For that one I just try to put enough stuff in it that it's weighted down.

This is how I do the one for him.
