Anyone in the Raleigh area looking for a GCC?

We brought Mango home this past February from the breeder...he is still a baby!! When we first brought him home he would fall asleep on us and sit with us...he now attacks...

We can't take him out of his cage anymore without wearing gloves...to add food to his bowl or put his apple in the cage...he will attack our hands...

We have a cage for him that we set up on the outside screened in porch and he attacks when we try to take him outside...when we bring him in...he bites...

We have dogs and cats and think maybe they are stressing him out...he isn't a vocal bird unless he is startled...it isn't fair to him to be afraid...

Perhaps try training? He has likely trained you with biting. They can be tiny terrors. There are oodles of posts about chomping cheekies.

They are insanely good at training you via biting. Unfortunately once they get there, it can be difficult to get them out of that mindset, and takes real dedication.
