Anyone have any idea what this is?

I noticed this little bump on my military macaw. I have no idea what it is. I tried picking at it with tweezers but I’m too nervous to do anything myself. I took him to the vet last week but they didn’t mention it (I didn’t notice it then). I don’t have any other macaws to compare it with. He otherwise is healthy eating and pooping fine. Maybe it’s just dried food, but I wouldn’t know how it got there. Advice is appreciated, thanks.

Have you tried a warm wet cloth to see if the thing can be moistened and gently wiped off? I would try that to see if it can be removed that way before using tweezers on your baby. I am unsure if it is food or something else but I would be hesitant to use tweezers for any unknown thing found.

Could be something like food, etc., stuck on his face or he broke the skin & it's a scab.
