any tips with hormone aggression

Hello all,

I was just wondering (macaw owners particularly) how you deal with the spring-time hormonal issues with your birds? Ie give me examples of how you guys spend your whole day! I don't like keeping her in her cage all day, but taking her out of it is becoming terrifying as she is this blood thirsty biting queen who hates all humans including her momma!

I know it will pass, essentially I just was hoping for some tips and tricks to deal with this time...
