That's great April. Sometimes being proactive can go a long a way. Off topic, but along the same lines, I posted an ad saying that I was looking for a house in a certain area on a billboard at a store in teh area. I ended up getting better deal then I could have ever imagined on a house that was perfect for us that never even had the chance to go up on he market. Had I not posted that dumb little sign, I never would have had this chance. You just never know.

I did try the add idea actually, before we got Pru, and I just got overwhelmed with emails from people trying talk me OUT of getting a parrot!!!
But maybe I should try again......that was in January.

Also... let the Avian Vets in your area know that you are looking for a Grey, sometimes they have clients who have to rehome.......

Do you think it would be ideal to attempt adding a second bird to our family when Pru is young and impressionable, or will that make no difference?

Iv heard that the younger the better,as they are likely to be more excepting,but no two birds are the same. It might make a differnce,or it might not.
