Just to remind folks that Zara is away for a few days so her bf is dealing with the little one's care (maybe he needs a temporary nickname ). She most likely won't be updating too regularly...if there isn't any news it isn't necessarily something to worry about

In terms of temporary nicknames I'm gonna throw out Herb or Herbie, because it's Autumn and the German name for the season is Herbst
Of course, its too early for proper names though, but just as I am running out of ways to refer to him/her.

Sorry for lack of updates guys.
We have heard nothing today, I called my boyfriend to ask if he had received a call, he said no. I have had no email or phone call...

So... The good news is he is still hanging on and fighting. Now, no news could mean he's getting better or he's the same... So I'm hoping he's improving.

Yesterday, the female vet told me I didn't have to call internationally as they would update me via email if any changes... But I will call her tomorrow and check up anyway.

Thanks @Khizz for posting for me, yes I'm away until midnight on Sunday. I will be home in 48 hours

I called for an update today but it seems they are closed. Someone must visit to care for the animals but they mustn't answer the phone I will visit tomorrow and see what's going on.

Still he is a very lucky lil guy to be off the streets injured & in the care of a vet...

I'm in the waiting room. I drove here instead of phonecall. There's a lady who brought in a baby chicken that needs an eye operation and the same vet is attending them. What a guy. I'm hoping for good news..... I've had no updates so I'm thinking that is a good sign

Definitely seems like if it was something urgent they’d have emailed or called. So fingers crossed...

Bad news, he didn't make it.
They sent me an email but it went to my spam box. I just picked up the cage, there's blood all over it, poor guy. The vet did everything they could. He suspects the cat grabbed the bird piercing his wing then thrashed him against something. I'm going back down tomorrow to pay the bill.
