Ancient Hot Baths
At the same location where the ancient synagogue and mosaic zodiac were there is also the ancient baths that were used at that time. our visit to the nearby hot springs spa (modern day facility) was great. We swam in the medicinal waters for three days, the waters mineral do have a healing effect on you.
We went on to another dig, whose excavation was under way and not yet complete but the old ancient city could be seen emerging from the uncovered earth.
Israel is loaded with archaeological treasures. I am always ready to go and visit the "past world" even though I am living and walking on the same ancient ground every day. Here in Nahariya there are ruins as well and new ruins just a few kilometers south in Acco (Acre or Acra).
