Tell Milton it's okay, I have a little experience with what spoiled U2's get into. ;)
...well, Milton is DEFINITELY spoiled...he's also smaller than your average male U2 (455g) so you'd have to think his beak is a bit smaller than mature males. To me his beak doesn't look that large, but I definitely understand people with littles would think that his beak is huge.

Anyway, with a smaller beak, Milty definitely prefers smaller square pieces of wood...he won't touch larger pieces or ball shaped pieces of wood...he'll ignore them until the cows come home...that's why I end up with custom made creations a lot. "What The Shell" provides everything Milty likes...

Good for Chickie. Bad for the swing although I realize it is supposed to be chewed on. :)
Is it easy to take the swing apart and add new pieces of wood and other items?

I’m just going to ask @Macawnutz to make me another exact same one with a 1.5” perch. When she has time. And a ton of foot toys like the wood sandwiches but not the one with lollipop sticks

You make it too easy for your birds. ;) :D

I have learned that there are three types of parronts, 10,000 different birds but three types of parronts. ;) The toys are deemed successful if...
1. The toy lasts forever but they play with it.
2. The toy lasts xxxx amount of time.
Or 3. The toy gone as fast as possible and nothing is left behind.

Saroj is 3. She wants nothing left but the quick link and stringing material. Lol

But look I am so happy Chickie chewed pine!!

Kinda looks like she chewed the balsa. ;) Which was close to the pine if that counts!

They look like they prefer a larger diameter huh? 1.5" is bigger than I expected you to say.

We go through foot toys like mad here. I literally can spend a whole morning making them , hand them out, and that evening they’re all gone.

Off to look at Macawnutz’ toys. Those are awesome!

I guess I'm eclectic.
1. Stainless and acrylic toys are a success because they last forever and the birds play with them.
2. Wood toys are successful when they last for more than a day or two.
3. Individual pieces of pine or balsa given out individually or strung on a skewer, hemp, sisal or leather are successful toys when they are destroyed quickly because they are fast fun for the birds.
