ADAD wildflower

These photos were taken when my granddaughter was here in February and we were walking along the shore collecting seashells.
These grow along the Mediterranean coast of Israel. It is absolutely breathtaking at this time of year. In Hebrew the Flower is ADAD which means forever and ever. We cut them and place them in Dry flower arrangements in the house for the beauty all year round.

They fade just a tiny bit, and their stems turn brown, lack of fresh chlorophyll. These flowers as well as baby's breath are always used in flower arrangements, my straw flowers are beginning to come up, and I hope that my silver dollars and chinese lantern plants will regrow again this year.
