Vinyet really needed a bath. She made some birdie soup. She then got this orange soupy paste on her cheek, a few wing feathers and some tail feathers. (and all over the cage bars) It was night time and I didn't notice until later when it had dried into a hard crust. It was terrible.
So I had to put her in the sink and rinse her until it came out. She was not a fan. I imagine she prefers to bathe in a dish rather than a get a "shower". I'd like to try misting but don't have a spray bottle for her yet.
Photos!
Right afterward she jumped away and hid.
But then she forgave me and we got some random wet photos.
I wiped her down with a towel afterwards because she was soaked and to make sure I got all the crust out.
I'll be watching for bird-soup-paste now.
