She is a real sweetie! I was a bit leary, thinking she would be too feisty. But not at all so far. She speaks sweet little things to keep in touch as I go through the house.

Me? I do not. I currently don't have any bird, though I've owned a few different species in the past. I think if I got a parrot in the near future it'd be something small; a 'tiel or brotogeris.
I considered getting a WCP in a year or more because they are a favorite species of mine but there are no rescues near enough to me to adopt from and I can't seem to find a breeder for them. No idea what happened to them all.

Oh I definitely agree... They are so sweet. I had my previous Maximilian pionus several years ago and thought I would never be able to get another one. The breeder in our area stopped breeding to sell. It's kind of crazy to not be able to find a breeder for these sweet Birds. Just on a whim I stopped by a bird show and lo and behold there was a rescue!

I had to get my little WCP from the other side of the country! I wish they were easier to find, I'd have so many...
