Our neighbor who is a teacher, recently bred his BP classroom snake. Due to a series of unfortunate circumstances, a few of the babies died, and he decided to adopt the surviving offspring out. He was left with one remaining baby he took home, but his wife hates snakes, and won't have it in the house.
This stunning little creature isn't out of the woods yet. It will strike at food, but hasn't yet eaten any.
So, while our previous count was six snakes, all native to North America, now we have an exotic seventh.
Hope he starts eating soon.
