We have 10 days left till our female BH Pionus comes home. She is 5 months old and we have named her Duchess. Our 4 and year old girls adore her and she snuggles in wit them on their arm. I can't wait to get her! The Practical Pionus book is on it's way and I have been reading good bird magazine. I hope our parrotlet is happy with her here too! It will be someone to talk to if we are not around. We have the HQ cage ready and some toys, we just need a tabletop stand. If anyone has some input on preparation I can do in the next 10 days including cage set up and diet set up, please let me know. She will come with 3 weeks of food already (I am guessing zupreem pellets - we use harrisons at home but I want to use what she is used to.) All tips welcomed! Thanks!
