But as we had to wait for results, all 3 had full checks up and blood work done. We go back in Friday for results.

I know you didn't do it on purpose, but now you do have me crying. That's what we've done in the past with the fids who were too little, too weak or too old. They always "slept" near a tree or under one of the standing bird baths so they'd always have the company of other birds. It's a beautiful goodbye ceremony. Even BIGGER HUGS to both of you. Saying goodbye is always so hard.
