Ooh a free bird toy!

My husband ordered something online, and the stuff came padded with this! The birds are gonna LOVE this! And so many uses! I can thread things through it, hang stuff from it...I love it when a perfect bird toy opportunity falls into your lap! Plus it's recycling!

@EkkieLu I can't wait to let them play with it! I have to leave it hanging near the cage for a while though as I think it would freak them out too much if I just put it in there!

I wonder if that stuff can be ordered by the sheet or roll. I know Newt would have a ball with it. He's a major shredder!

I looked it up and I know you can buy a special cardboard shredder. Probably useful for vendors?

@EkkieLu that's great! Also it's good if you have a lot of boxes and need a space saving way to store them! That's if the birds don't manage to shred it all first haha

Not got a pic of them using it yet (currently on "observe suspiciously" stage!) but strapped it to the side of the cage. I'll probably string some other things to it but for now this will be enough to keep them entertained

I fold the strips into toys! I even added beads to this one.

Never thought of using this as a toy! I got an order today and it also has this shredded cardboard in it. So I will keep it, Sisi loves shredding this kind of stuff

Buddy is scared of this stuff... Not sure why, he loves cardboard & the color of cardboard paper but this stuff.
