cage.jpg I am offering M&M's lovely flight cage to anyone that can come get it for no cost. It is in top shape. Also they will be the LED lighting/timer that go on top and maybe a few assorted other birdie things. Of course they are still living in it until after next Monday. If no one wants it then I will look to other options for the cage such as donation. Most bird rescues want the cage donations brought to them but this is not possible now that my car has been sold.

Hi @Lady Jane I am potentially interested in this cage as an upgrade for Georgie (canary winged parakeet). What are the dimensions of this cage and the bar spacing?

Thanks
Caitlyn

I have an identical one, and also a black one like it. They'll have their choice. I’m also going to set it up exactly as Lady Jane has it now. Hopefully it will feel familiar.

I just didn't know. I know you spoil the heck out of those 2 little creatures. :hug8:

Measurements Depth: 21.25 " Height of Cage portion 15" Width: 32"

Wheeled stand: about 22.5 " from floor

Total Height including stand then would be 37.5

Thank you so much Lady Jane! I will be talking to my parents today to figure out if we have the space for the cage.

Oh. Mine are bigger then.

I was going to start them out in a small cage, until they get used to my noisy flock. Then move to a bigger one.

Thank you Lady Jane for all the information on the cage! Unfortunately, we just do not have the space to put the cage in the living room where she is. She could only fit in my room and that would not work as she would be isolated.
Btw: I am so sorry that you have to rehome your babies.:sadhug2:

Check your measurements @Lady Jane. The cage looks a lot taller than that, somewhere around the same as the width.

Not re doing the measurements because both birds are terrified of the measuring tape. It must look like a yellow snake. If no one else is interested on the forum I am putting it on a local FB yard sale page.

I am pretty sure the cage will be accepted as donation by Phoenix Landing. I was asked what the size was and whether or not it has rust which it does not. Cage is about 2.5 years old. Will also give them other bird related items.

The irony of things. The volunteer from Phoenix Landing that will come get the cage also has bird dust lungs and had to give up all of her flock. I will be doing lots of vacuuming and cage scrubbing first.
