Can’t post video

Is it working for anyone else? Can’t upload it from the ipad.

Videos can not be directly uploaded to the forum. You have to post it to a website such as YouTube or Facebook, and then link the video.

I use youtube to upload videos then paste the link here in the forum

If your using an ipad the easiest way to mange videos is with the youtube app.

Im having trouble paying a video I have set to Public in FB. I'm on my android phone and when I select "copy link address" I get a ridiculously long link. Some members have been able to view it but others say it takes them to their own FB page.

I've added a space after the "h" to break the link so y'all can see how ridiculous it is. What is all that "story" crud anyway?

This is how I've always had to do it:

From the computer, go to the video you want to share (make sure that it is Public and not in a closed group) and click the ... in the upper right corner of the post. Then click "Embed"

From there, Hit Advanced Settings

Then copy the URL of the video (Highlight it, then press the Ctrl and C buttons at the same time to copy)

Nice!! I was able to find it that way too. I wonder if that's newer as I've never seen that before. Way easier!!

Can’t say that I have ever tried to share a video from fb before to another site so have no idea if it’s new

Always first click on the video so it open in own or new window.
Then press and hold on video and copy url.
If you are using Fb lite, press meny after click on video and chose copy video link/url to "urklipp". (I don't know that name in English, perhaps Google or Mizzely can help you.
