So today I have had Zee for three weeks! She is really settling in well and starting to try fresh foods. Yesterday I finally got her to take a bath, I noticed she has a strange "wet bird" smell kinda like a mix between dried fruit and.. mabey cheese balls? Anyway, shes adjusted really well it feels like it's been longer than three weeks. :D

Yes, wet bird is such a strange musky smell.

Nice to hear Zee is settling in well. Please do post a picture of her :)

My birds all have a special wet bird smell. It's far less offensive than wet dog, however! Probably because they're relatively tiny!

I don't believe so, Leh. Wet fur smells a lot different than wet feathers.
My Dalmatian stunk when she was wet but this Sun of mine smells pretty good and most definately like feathers and not fur. :)
