Thank you everyone! I wasn't sure if he'd want to come out when he got home but he hopped right out. I am so happy, he seems pretty happy too, he's grinding his beak, under my hair on my shoulder at the moment. He and Sam Axe have already shouted at each other, but don't seem overly curious about each other from different rooms. New bird appointment on Tuesday with the vet.

Here are a few more pictures, some are from last night and some are from today when I got home from work. It's so fun watching his enthusiasm - I was thrilled when he flew from the scale (he's 105g at the moment) to the playstand. For being clipped, he's a pretty good flier - I can't wait until his wings come in.

I've been collecting stuff for a couple of months after I figured out that I had the space, the budget and the time to add a conure to my home. I actually had a lot of stuff a few years ago but, ended up giving it to a pair of budgies in need. So, I started collecting again. Granted, he appeared sooner than expected, but I tried to be prepared.

Thank you! That’s one of my favorites of him! He’s a little snuggle monster at the moment. He makes that fluffy face quite a bit.

He's so cool - he actually flew to me this afternoon - I opened his door but I didn't offer him to step up because I didn't want him to feel like he needed to, and he did that little "I'm going to fly" dance and he flew on over! Not far but still, I think it's so cool. I didn't have my phone so no pictures of it.
