I'm really surprised he did as much chewing as he did - he doesn't like when I mess with his sleeping arrangements, but I did it much earlier in the day to where he could keep an eye on it/observe from a distance. That may have helped things.
When I uncovered the sleep cage, I saw little chipped bits of wood scattered all over the place, and there was one of his groovy blocks floating in his water bowl. Must've been one heck of a party he had last night. Rupert loves your toys and perches. I think I'll be asking for a few beads embedded in future toys. He doesn't like chewing beads, but I think he feels the need to jailbreak them? I forgot to mention, but he's been chewing on those cutoff pieces, too. There are chew marks all over them.
