Just because they are male and female, doesn't mean they will be bred. ESPECIALLY since they are from the same clutch.
These two chicks already have homes lined up and will be going to great new families.

They will be weaned onto everything. Seeds, Roudybush pellets, Harrison pellets, veggies, egg food, and sprouts.

There is tremendous potential for harm when you inbreed. Full siblings especially should not be bred together.

I feel they have a strong resemblance to my Cookie Boy (white bird) and Boom Boom (blue bird) however they are happy and oh so cute.

I take back my previous answer, now that he has fully fledged and has more feathers. He's a Violet Grey.


The chicks have officially fledged and have left the nest box. Here they are with dad, enjoying breakfast this morning. They definitely are NOT going to be picky eaters! Nom Nom Nom.
