He didn’t show up! I called him and no answer. So I just called him again and he said he would send someone tomorrow morning. That’s what he told jack because I handed the phone to him sooon as I got him on the line jack now thinks our breaker box has water damage so it will have to be replaced

Guess what the electricians came and fixed the weather head damage! I called gulf power and put in a service order. So she said she doesn’t know when they will get to it. We also started the process for the whole house generator

It’s been quite the adventure living in primitive conditions. Life improved greatly once we got the generator. Still bird bedtime at 6 pm is quite a change of routine for them

When Hurricane Isabel hit Maryland in 2003 we lost power and access to our well water for 17 days. We ate non cooked food for breakfast and lunch each day. Then for dinner we went to a Pennsylvania grocery store (that didn't lose power) that had a bunch of prepared hot food stations. We worked our way around the store until we finally ran out of choices except the olive bar, lol. That has become a private joke for us every since. But yeah, it was pretty primitive.

Good thing is that everything is ready to go at your house and Gulf Power just needs to do their thing. Great about the whole house generator.
