So, first things first: I took a break from the forums and fostering birds because of a health scare in the family, but everything is fine now.
Anyway, I now have the next lucky bird to join the household!
Meet Sam the Goffin's Cockatoo!
I just got him home last night. He's settling in well, but he was fussy about going into the big cage at first. It seems like he was plucking earlier, but his feathers seem to be coming back in now. He's understandably still a little scared, but I'm sure he will come around soon. He is 17 years old and is confirmed to be a male. He's eaten some pellets, and some banana chunks. Some behaviors I've noticed from him so far are head bobbing and mimicking an evil laugh.
I think that's all I can say about him right now, but he does seem like a good bird so far.
Thanks for reading!
