Another "Is this bird right for me" Question.

Thank you all for your insights and advice.

It appears this bird is not for me. I am very scared how they will react once I/if I get a family. I am trying to think advance, as I do not want to rehome him.

I think I will be looking into the Poi's, I met a brown headed parrot yesterday and they were really sweet.

Update, after some research and seeing the little guys, I have purchased a Brown headed parrot. I look at near by sanctuary's and they only McCaws and Cockatoos.

Congrats on your new parrot. I wasn't sure what it would look like, checked online, I really love the look. Subtle coloring and intelligent looking faces.

Thanks Dona. Not much info on them sadly, but they are in the Poi family. They are more mild than Senegals and Meyers. Looking forward to bringing him home in a few weeks.
