it’s 85 in the birdroom and he went into his tunnel and started scratching around vigorously which raised his core temperature even more. He came out and started like he wanted to regurgitate. Kept on doing it and scared me. I sprayed him just on a guess and he stopped and started eating nutriberries. I’ll have to leave the birdroom door even more ajar so the house AC cools it down. Eventually I’ll have to switch on the birdroom AC which makes Jackson miserable.

Awww BScoot. Rocky gets over heated too scratching around making her nest. I have to put on the AC. Water spray bottle is a great idea too.

I held onto Beeper a bit too tight one day before she could fly outside and she started panting badly. We immediately gave a her a bunch of cold water to drink and she also straightened right up but she was tiny by comparison.

Talking about panting...Chickie has a very hard time getting nails done. The techs are coming Sunday and I think we’ll skip her nails. She pants so hard after, the tech made a comment about a heart attack.

Did Beeper fly outdoors while he was with you?

No, she did not. I thought she escaped one day and was running in and out looking for her and she was hiding in a living room lamp holding still while I freaked out. She was totally bonded and imprinted so I couldn't make myself let her go and she seemed very happy playing with her toys, stealing our food and drink and singing the song of her people when she was alone. She hated being picked up but if I held up my finger she would fly to me or anyone else interesting, she was quite tame.
