in light of current recalll...
I do wash their fresh veggies with a vegetable wash but it may not be enough to keep birds safe.
Any suggestions?

Wendy, I soak all of my vegetables in a F10/water/ice mixture for 1 hour then dry well and store in a cold, cold refrigerator.

I heard about this last Saturday, from the person I got this phone from, he owns a DQ in my hood. I threw out the romaine I had.

@finchly I put about 10 ml in a sink full of water/ice. I think that would be less than the 500:1 dilution, but I let it set for an hour+ and swish the mix around a few times. If you notice that all of the recommended dilutions given by the manufacturer are time+dilution. It is just a guess by me, but has worked well so far.
