C4D7D837-5A12-4035-B1FB-2159999F30BC.jpeg I have a bonded pair of lovebirds. The male is 9 and the female is 4.
I adore them and spoil them a great deal.
Unfortunately I have come down with Lyme disease. With it comes terrible migraines.
I cannot take the noise level from the lovies any longer.
I’m looking for someone to Love them as much as I do. I sing to them and they fall asleep. They get spinach, plain pasta and carrots everyday as a treat.
Paid $400 for the cage.
I’m very sad, but have no choice. I’m in Northeast Ohio.

There's a parrot rescue in New Mexico and the amazing women who runs it also has lyme disease. (one of *many* of her health issues) She's gone through a lot to not only keep herself healthy, but to care for her birds as well. It may not be an option for you, but just thought I'd share the fact that other parrot owners have lyme disease and have learned to cope with this horrible disease and being able to keep parrots as well - so you are not alone.

I'm sorry to hear you have it. Everything I've heard about lyme disease sounds terrible, and a difficult way to live. :sadhug2:

I'm sorry to hear you're sick. If i wasn't up in Cannuksville, I'd offer to take them. I hope you can find someone in your area who can give 'em a loving home, though.

Thank you for all of the replies. Monica I will check out the woman and rescue in NM.
I’m trying all the diets and supplements to help with the symptoms.
The migraines are the worst of it.
